Trip to Kondang Merak Beach, Malang

Hello guys, how are you there? today is a tiring and wonderful day. I just back from Kondang Merak, a beautiful beach in Malang. I went with my friends in an organization of my hometown, Kediri. actually there was no special agenda like meeting or something else, we just had fun to make know among each member especially for freshmen of this organization.

Actually it was an annual agenda of this organization, last year was in Coban Rondo waterfall in Malang, unfortunately I couldn't join. Because the fund wasn't much, so we just rent a truck for thirty-two people. The day when we went to the location, was rain cats and dogs. However, we had to go although only with tarpaulin above us. I can't forget how the water filter down between the tarpaulin because the rain was too hard. Something that make me laugh was when some of those guy used umbrella and raincoat to make them keep dry, even in a truck! if only I took  their picture.

It was a three-hour departure from our campus to the beach featured by challenging road. I wasn't imagine that it would be a tighten and tiring trip. We arrived there almost west, something that make me annoyed was there was no electricity. They just using solar cell, so we had to be patient and extra careful to make a step.

I thought that my unfortunate for that day had completed. First, about that tiring departure trip. Second, about the electricity and the freshwater to prayer, and the worst was no signal for my mobile phone at all! They almost made me mad. I thought that how can those people live here in this condition, no good facilities for them. Oh yeah, and the toilet was only two rooms, you can imagine how long the queue. I just hoped  that night wasn't long, I couldn't wait to see and swim on the beach.

We had a campfire party at night. However, the fire needed long time to flare up until the gasoline runs out. Fortunately, someone who had a camp next to us helped us to make it. and the other unfortunate came, the rain suddenly fall and some of us run back to the lodging. The campfire party didn't run well.

Dawn already came, so we went to the beach. There were two side beach separated by a big bush, we went to a side where there were many fisherman's boats. Oh yah, I wonder why many colorful sea plants there, like algae, seaweed and many more. Is it caused by the weather so the wave bring them or something else?

After had breakfast with tuna, we went to another side of beach and did some small activity and games. This side was better than another side. The last game, we divided into two groups to do in and win of a scarf, but we had to make something like water in plastics war to defeat the opponent group. It was a lot of fun.

Finally, the swimming time had came. I didn't mean to swim at that time, but some of my fiends forced and dragged me to the water. So, I made myself drenched by swim although in jeans. The waves were so strong.

Very tiring and amazing! however, it was very very please overall even with something annoying before. We ended with fell asleep on the truck even with stingy sunlight above.

Kondang Merak Beach is not famous place actually, as it way is not too good. I think that's why there are no many sellers and good facilities there. However, many visitors there after I thought that there won't many people interested to go there. If you like challenges, it is a good recommendation to go there with your friends or family in holiday. And don't forget to prepare some important stuff.
